Advocacy Casework
The advocacy casework team offer free one to one support. The team provides a free, confidential and impartial advice service.

Young people can access professional advice and ongoing support through our regular drop-in services. In special circumstances, further provision can be made available for home visits or personal calls.

Our service is available for all young people aged between 11 and 25 regardless of sex, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation or background.

The advocacy team builds positive relationships with young people by providing support around specific issues. These include the following:

  • Self image/self esteem
  • Bullying Offending/antisocial behaviour
  • Anger management
  • Substance misuse and relapse prevention
  • Welfare and Benefits Family breakdown
  • Counselling Housing/accommodation
  • Education Training/employment

Proven Results
The work of our advocacy team has proven to be highly effective in its methods. Our team works closely with other agencies and the youth justice system in an effort to provide the best possible outcome for the young people we support.

From 2004 to 2005 we engaged with 3600 young people within the London Borough of Tower hamlets.
